GengRide is a place to explore, ride, and connect with other riders. These guidelines keep it useful and respectful for everyone. They sit alongside our Terms and Privacy Policy — the Terms are the legal version; this is the plain-language one. Breaking these can get content removed or an account suspended.
Ride safe and legal
- GengRide is an assistance and community tool, not a substitute for safe riding. Always follow real road signs, traffic laws and actual conditions — they override the app.
- Don't use GengRide to organise or encourage illegal or dangerous activity — illegal racing, evading law enforcement, or reckless riding.
- You're responsible for your own riding, your vehicle, and your decisions.
Be respectful
- No harassment, threats, hate speech, or bullying.
- No impersonation, doxxing, or sharing someone's private information.
- Disagree without attacking people.
Keep content appropriate
- No sexual or nude content — it's blocked.
- Graphic or distressing imagery (e.g. accident scenes) may be allowed for safety/awareness, but is placed behind a tap-to-view cover. Gratuitous or gory content beyond that may be removed.
- Don't post other people's faces or vehicle plates without their consent.
- No copyright infringement — only post what you have the right to.
Keep it real
- Don't fake rides, spoof your GPS, or "park-and-cheat" achievements.
- Don't create fake or misleading places, gengs, or convoys.
- Report hazards and road conditions honestly — community reports help other riders; false ones put them at risk.
- No spam.
Reporting & enforcement
See something that breaks these guidelines? Use the in-app report on the content, or report it at gengride.my/report (no account needed). We may remove content, apply contribution limits, suspend or close accounts, or refer serious matters to the authorities. Penalties for confirmed violations follow our moderation process — an automated filter catch alone never penalises you.
